Overview

QuEra's technology is built on large-scale arrays of atoms, laser-cooled to microkelvin temperatures and held in vacuum by movable laser tweezers. Those atoms serve as the memory banks for scalable quantum computing, with ultrafast, high-fidelity gates and a roadmap that runs toward millions of qubits.

What separates it from most of the field is that users can access the technology today. QuEra's first-generation machine, Aquila — a 256-qubit quantum processor — is available on Amazon Braket, so researchers run quantum algorithms of their own design on continuously maintained hardware rather than waiting for a demo.

Milestones

  1. Appointed Corporate Director.
  2. 256-qubit neutral-atom processor available to users on Amazon Braket.
  3. Board term concluded.
